Beroe is the world’s leading procurement intelligence platform, leveraging real-time data and AI-driven insights to empower procurement professionals worldwide.

Over my five years at Beroe as a Senior Product Designer, I was at the forefront of several key projects, working alongside the management team and directly engaging with stakeholders. My primary focus was on enhancing the platform’s user experience and interface design to meet the evolving needs of Beroe’s global client base and internal teams.

As a lead on multiple core projects, my responsibilities extended beyond hands-on design work. I played an instrumental role in engaging directly with Beroe’s management team to align business objectives with UX strategies.

This collaboration was critical in shaping long-term design goals, ensuring that the platform evolved to meet user needs while also supporting broader business outcomes.

Building and Expanding the Beroe Design System

As Beroe grew, so did the number of designers working across different regions and projects. Ensuring a unified and consistent user experience across all touchpoints became increasingly challenging. To address this, I was deeply involved in the creation and expansion of Beroe’s design system, a centralized framework that governed the visual and functional aspects of the platform.

We designed the system to be scalable, ensuring that new components could be seamlessly added as the product grew. Flexibility was also a core focus, as the system had to accommodate the varied needs of designers working on different features and projects.

Beroe’s design and development teams were distributed across the globe, with team members in America, Europe, and India. To overcome the challenges of remote collaboration, I helped create and implement design SOPs tailored to facilitate smooth communication and coordination between geographically dispersed teams.

We conducted continuous testing and refinement of these SOPs based on feedback from team members. This ensured that the processes remained effective and adapted to the changing dynamics of the company as it scaled.

Throughout the design process, I was actively involved in every stage of product development, from early-stage user research to finalizing UI designs. This end-to-end involvement allowed me to contribute a well-rounded perspective, ensuring that the user’s voice was heard at every phase of the design journey.

During my time at Beroe, I was able to make a lasting impact on the company's product design ecosystem by leading key projects, creating scalable systems, and fostering cross-team collaboration.

By integrating strategic planning with hands-on design work, I contributed to the company’s mission of empowering procurement professionals through a platform that is not only data-rich but also user-friendly.
